The Associate Retail Manager plays a critical role in driving sales. This role is responsible for executing nutritional education, distribution, pricing, placement, promotional and POP Messaging objectives at store through Agency partners. As such, the role works with and trains our Agency partners to meet all retail objectives in assigned stores as well as act as liaison between internal stakeholders and Agency retail execution teams. The role is responsible for retail execution in all customers serviced by Agency partners within their dedicated retail environment(s) and serves as key contact for all retail support of assigned customers.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Leadership/Strategic Planning
    • Provide retail in-store execution expertise to the Agency customer development team for specific customers in a defined geography and assigned accounts. ◦ Direct and implement in store selling programs to gain incremental display execution ◦ Formulate specific action plans to address issues and maximize opportunities at assigned accounts. • Achieve strong results by directing agency partner on all Speed-to-Shelf objectives, Share of Shelf / brand placement execution, and Plan-o-gram compliance within the assigned retail environments/customers. 
  • In-Store Execution
    • Manage account operational relationships to maximize support of in-store execution including retail meetings coordinated by department and conducted in conjunction with internal stakeholders. ◦ Lead the Retail Agency by directing and translating brand strategies and customer priorities into optimal retail store conditions for maximum sales results and share growth within the assigned retail environments/customers. ◦ Manage the communication process between agency partners and customer teams. ◦ Ensure best in class in-store communication. 
  • Operational Effectiveness
    • Obtain maximum distribution in all authorized stores, reduce out-of-stocks, nutritional education excellence, and build business through managing store compliance. • Train and work with 3rd party team members in the field to achieve results. • Conduct retail management and focus meetings. 
  • Quarterly Agency Field work-withs.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 5+ years CPG experience
  • Ability to identify and engage internal and external stakeholders to accomplish best in class execution 
  • Awareness of Go To Market strategies and retail operations 
  • Analytical experience including customer retail data 
  • Google suite including high level knowledge of Sheets, Slides and Docs is required 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years Agency management

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $91,200.00 - $128,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge
