About the role
Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Administrator based in our Houston office location to support our Supply Chain / procurement project team. Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required. No referral bonuses will be offered with this position.
- Must have experience working with and/or supporting Supply Chain
- Answers incoming phone calls and addresses emails
- Greets visitors and assists in resolving issues
- Interfaces with clients and vendors and ensures outcomes are appropriately communicated
- Coordinates and schedules meetings and special events
- Organizes and maintains files and records
- Prepares, formats and distributes documents such as meeting minutes, complex reports, presentations and studies
- Facilitates domestic and/or global travel
- Format documents as required
- May maintain a SharePoint site
- May process requisitions
- May support luncheons
- Must have experience working with and/or supporting Supply Chain
- Proven experience supporting administrative activities
- Demonstrates a professional manner in appearance
- Must possess the ability to read, write and comprehend written and spoken English
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Adobe, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Visio and other software programs as required
- 3+ years minimum experience in this type of capacity
- Ability to operate office equipment including computer, keyboard, mouse, copier and phone
- Strong PC skills with ability to enter data and verify accuracy
- Strong knowledge in developing and maintaining complex spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and studies
- Strong knowledge of document formatting; ability to maintain and modify formats of spreadsheets and other project documents in order to complete tasks
- Ability to learn other applications and use databases as required
- Strong understanding of the project Supply Chain function, terminology, policies and procedures
- Effective oral and written communication skills with professional vocabulary, professional grammar, and the ability to independently compose routine written communications
- Excellent organization and time management skills and abilities to meet deadlines
- Detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task
- Ability to resolve problems and questions independently
- Ability to maintain confidential / sensitive files and records
