SALARY RANGE
$38,241.84 - $42,066.02 Annually $1,470.84 - $1,617.92 Biweekly
The hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent assigned to this position is responsible for carpentry and paint and transporting needed materials to assigned work areas. The work may require bending, squatting or standing for extended periods and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Design and construct cabinets, countertops, furniture, along with furniture repair and building maintenance. Ensure materials are ready and available for each job such as skill saws, drill table saws, bandsaws, and other carpentry tools.
Perform all types of carpentry, such as framing, roofing, cabinetry repairs, finish work, trim work, and masonry. Responsible for gathering materials needed for each named job such as skill saws, drills, and other carpentry tools. Responsible for the repair and/or hanging of doors. Responsible for the proper use of hand tools, including but not limited to electric saws, skill saws, and trim knives.
Maintain woodworking equipment used in the cabinet/carpentry shops such as changing belts, oil machinery, saw blades and carpentry tools.
