Position Requirements
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- 11+ years of experience; 15+ years' experience preferred.
- Series 7 and Series 66 required, or completed within first 6 months.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) required, or Level 1 must be completed within first year.
- Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) preferred.
- Influencing teams of stakeholders.
- Strong project planning and process design skills; ability to engage and influence stakeholders to execution over long project arcs.
- Competitive analysis.
- Organizational navigation skills, and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders where no direct responsibility lines may exist.
- Expert knowledge of the regulatory landscape around alternatives products and client requirements.
- Content development and marketing skills.
- Expert knowledge of financial markets.
- Expert knowledge of asset management industry.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, investment research industry standard software platforms to procure and draw insights, as well as familiarity with using proprietary and third-party databases supporting alternatives-related research (Pitchbook, Preqin, HFRI, etc.).
What will set you apart:
- Ability to navigate the needs of the business regarding product, while at the same time having an innate instinct of seeking best-in-class investment choices from an investment merit perspective.
- A career focus on alternatives is baseline, but current or historical work with traditional/multi-asset classes in addition would be desirable.
- An understanding of the wealth management client and how alternative solutions are delivered
