Digital Product Analyst

Primary Function of Position

Works with the team on a day-to-day basis to ensure clarity of user stories, details for features and how they connect to overall product vision

• Connects business objectives and core technological capabilities, acting as the team’s source of business information, requirement clarification, and data analysis
• Works with Product Manager to determine business requirements and value, leveraging their knowledge of digital journeys and organizational experience to help shape business cases and support value assurance of digital solutions

Roles And Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the PM to shape end-to-end product strategy and business value
• Elicits requirements to meet team goals
• Serves as the day-to-day contact for the team on clarification of requirements
• Supports the PM in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with overall product vision
• Supports business case building and value assurance of digital solutions
• Defines, implements and tracks product performance metrics
• Preps and supports team demos
• Works closely with the PM on priorities and day to day decision-making

Qualifications and key skills:

Domain skills

• Knowledge of digital domains/products/journeys
• Knowledge of relevant systems and field from experience within the organization

Craft

• Ability to learn industry trends/domains and end user demands from pain points
• Proficient in managing product backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up)
• Experienced in using techniques like cost-benefit analysis for feature prioritization and business case-building processes
• Ability to lead/work with teams in an agile setting as an analyst
