Local- Licensed Practical Nurse

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Local-Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a Local-LPN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to work in your local area and deliver essential nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders
• Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the registered nurse or physician
• Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans
• Provide basic nursing care, including wound dressing, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and self-care techniques
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an LPN
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required

Pay Rate: $32 per hour.

Time:  3PM TO 11:30PM

Experience required: Minimum of 2years.

License Required: PA License

Certificates Required: BLS
