What is the Role:
DTEX Systems is looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer with experience in Linux systems development, application development and big data development, who can design and build a scalable big data analytics platform with automated management and maintenance capabilities. As a senior software engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and optimizing search solutions utilizing both Elasticsearch and OpenSearch.
What You Will Do:
- The candidate will be part of the product engineering team responsible for all things related to the data pipeline, analytics, and APIs.
- Design, develop and optimize solutions using Elasticsearch/Kibana and OpenSearch/OpenSearch Dashboards.
- Architect and implement scalable search to support large scale data indexing and retrieval.
- Collaborate with investigations team and data scientists to understand search requirements, translate them into technical specifications and implement on the platform.
- Lead efforts to improve search relevance, performance and user experience through tuning, optimization, and experimentation.
- Design and implement features for the big data analytics platform that is part of the DTEX solution.
