The Mission of the Senior Finance Business Partner - GMO
As Senior Finance Business Partner for ICEYE’s Global Manufacturing Organization (GMO), you are a core member of the GMO leadership team and a trusted financial advisor of ICEYE’s manufacturing scale-up. You operate side-by-side with GMO leadership in a fast-moving, capital-intensive environment, providing forward-looking financial judgement that directly shapes manufacturing cadence, investment decisions, and long-term constellation outcomes..
You will work closely with the SVP of GMO, senior leaders across the organization, and key cross-functional partners—including Engineering Finance, Supply Chain, Launch Management, and the broader Finance team. You own GMO’s forecasting, financial reporting, and long-range planning, with full accountability for the satellite constellation financial model. This model is a critical decision tool for leadership, underpinning launch timing, investment prioritisation, cost trajectories, and capital efficiency across the constellation lifecycle.
Your work will directly shape decisions around satellite launch commitments, Bill of Materials (BoM) strategy, and constellation scaling choices. You provide the financial counterbalance to technical ambition—ensuring capital, cost, and timing trade-offs are clearly understood and actively managed in a complex, fast-moving environment

Outcomes:
- Establish yourself as a trusted financial partner to the GMO SVP and leadership team, actively shaping manufacturing strategy, investment trade-offs, and scale decisions.
- Own GMO’s forecasting and financial reporting with a clear focus on forward-looking insight—surfacing cost, yield, timing, and capital risks early and enabling leadership to act decisively.
- Lead satellite constellation financial planning and analysis, providing clear financial judgement on launch cadence, BoM strategy, and constellation evolution to support high-value procurement and investment decisions.
- Work in close partnership with Global Supply Chain and Launch Management, constructively challenging assumptions and trade-offs to ensure operational plans are financially sound, scalable, and executable
- Develop robust business and investment cases to enable informed decisions on scaling and technological advancement.
- Oversee and own time-tracking to support capitalization of satellite production and revenue recognition.
- Engage with key stakeholders across GMO, Engineering FBP, Finance, and other operations teams to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Contribute to the broader Finance organization in reporting, planning, and forecasting, including participation in long-term strategic planning.
- Partner with Corporate Controlling to ensure accurate accounting treatment and smooth financial processes.
