Job Description

Works under general supervision and provides administrative support for a unit or specialized activity to include the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.


Responsibilities:
-Performs program and project development, disseminates project information, and serves as an active participant in project-related work groups and committees.

-Provides recommendations to achieve goals.

-Coordinates project activities, collaborates with project team members, develops measurable project goals and objectives, and monitors progress toward achievement.

-Prepares agenda’s for meetings, documents key decisions, and collaborates with team members to develop project collateral.

-Hire and supervise personnel and manage team members.

-Establish protocols for improving project/program and personnel efficiency, and contribute to problem-solving.

-Provide organizational and logistical support to the project activities. o Occasional travel with overnight stays to project performance locations, annual meetings, and sponsor meetings, and present project progress and results.

-Draft e-mails to the project PD and manage daily communications and business activities.

-Performs other related duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Two years of related experience.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Ability to communicate effectively both in written and spoken English.

-Excellent organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.

-Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Licenses:

-Texas Driver's License
