About the role

GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed, and results oriented Senior Product Manager - Associate Enablement to drive associate engagement through the implementation of products and solutions in support of best in class recruiting, talent management, and rewards and recognition programs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the associate experience, optimize workflows, and elevate efficiency.  You will work closely with Human Resources, Technology, and Design to define and build our user journeys utilizing Workday as a primary source of enablement.  Responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, developing strategic solutions aligned with organizational goals, and playing a key role in our ongoing HR technology transformation journey. 

In this dynamic role, you'll be key to driving GEICO's digital transformation by being part of a growing Product Organization working in cross-functional teams to implement cutting edge technologies, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure seamless integration of digital solutions across the organization.

This position is a hybrid role, and it is required to be on-site 3 days a week at one of the following locations:

  • Washington, DC

  • San Jose/San Francisco, CA

  • Fredericksburg/ Richmond, VA

  • Dallas, TX

  • Chicago, IL

  • Seattle, WA

  • New York, NY

  • Indianapolis, IN

  

Job Responsibilities 

  • Understand industry landscape, market trends, customer and business need to synthesize discovery efforts into insights and implications to features 

  • Leverage insights to drive vision for product features that will drive incremental value and rally stakeholders to your vision 

  • Define and own the 6–9-month feature roadmap to drive priorities for your team taking into value creation and cost to create value 

  • Identify and measure feature KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates 

  • Have an end-to-end understanding of features and how they fit into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business 

  • Work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the customer experience 

  • Rally teams and senior stakeholders to your product direction and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem 

  • Reports on feature performance to stakeholders demonstrating incremental value creation 

  • Encourages adaptability informed by emerging solutions, industry trends and changing customer needs 

  • Defines scalable product solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external customers habits and technical systems  

  • Understands technology concepts and how underlying product services perform across channels and customer touchpoints 

  • Fosters a strong agile discipline and inspires teams to continuously improve delivery through understanding of key agile metrics 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • At least 5 years of experience in Product Management 

  • At least 4 years of experience translating epics into consumer or associate facing products 

  • At least 2 years of experience managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery 

  • At least 1 year experience building associate based solutions using Workday

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field 

  • 2+ years experience building associate based solutions using Workday

  • High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to influence across the organization

  • Insurance industry experience

  • Agile certifications (i.e., SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP)


 

Annual Salary

$128,000.00 - $224,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
