POSITION SUMMARY:
Milliman, Global Corporate Services (GCS) Brand and Creative team seeks a Project Manager to drive creative excellence through project management. Daily, you will manage fast-paced creative projects consisting of multiple interdisciplinary teams, often requiring collaboration with partners, both internal and external. The person in this role will guide projects from discovery to delivery, building timelines, monitoring progress, and leading communications along the way. The ideal candidate can set the appropriate resources, create influence, and deliver work on time, with exceptional attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Resourcing:
- Intake stakeholder requests in a timely manner, align with creative leadership and assign project teams.
- Support leadership to track, balance, and access assignments based on priorities and bandwidth.
- Create and provide regular project status reports as needed.
Project Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary, internal, and external teams to effectively project manage omni-channel marketing and creative projects.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster effective communications and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Project Planning and Management:
- Ensure projects are appropriately scoped and teams briefed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Facilitate meetings and status updates; setting expectations and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Oversee development and presentation of creative, initiate reviews, confirm stakeholder approvals, and ensure the successful distribution of final deliverables.
- Maintain accurate project documentation.
Process Implementation and Improvement:
- Identify the impact of process changes and suggest strategies to overcome challenges.
- Be a change agent, championing ongoing process improvement to integrate the creative function within the MarCom department.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years creative project management experience working in advertising or marketing on an agency or in-house creative team.
- Proven ability to lead projects and people, ensuring objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
- Experience partnering and communicating with external vendors, agencies, and freelance partners.
- Strong understanding of creative project life cycles; experience with B2B marketing is preferred.
- Must have superior organizational skills with a proven track record of leading and documenting project meetings and conducting stakeholder interviews to craft briefs.
- Creative and analytical approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining a “big picture” perspective.
- Experience with a range of deliverables, including print and digital advertising, branded collateral, digital, email marketing and event materials.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and standard project management tools; Box, Wrike and Adobe.
- Strong interpersonal skills including coaching, collaborating, and influencing.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with stakeholders.
LOCATION:
This is a remote role. This job posting is expected to close on October 25th, 2024
COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this role is $67,000 - $131,000 depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
