As an Associate Manager, Procurement & Supply Chain, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic sourcing and supplier management for raw and packaging materials. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Supplier Relationships: Manage strategic raw/packaging supplier relationships through quarterly business reviews, performance improvement initiatives, and expansion of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) processes including data optimization, supplier training, and KPI validation.

  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain service level agreements and best practices to ensure compliance and alignment between suppliers and SC Johnson.

  • Resolve Supply Challenges: Act as the primary point of contact for regional supply escalations, developing and executing corrective action plans in partnership with internal teams and external suppliers.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with NACB stakeholders, including Supply Planning, Quality, and Procurement, to ensure supplier performance meets business needs and supports innovation and growth.

  • Drive Supply Chain Efficiency: Proactively assess supplier capacity and lead initiatives to enhance supply chain reliability, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Engage in Strategic Forums: Represent procurement in key business forums such as S&OP, S&OE, and New Product Development (NPD) execution teams.

  • Secure Material Availability: Ensure timely and consistent supply of raw/packaging materials to internal manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers.

  • Optimize Processes: Identify and implement supply chain improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste, optimize inventory and lead times, and increase speed to market.

  • Support Strategic Procurement Initiatives: Collaborate with Procurement Portfolio teams to execute sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, and support supplier performance and innovation.

  • Lead Complex Problem Solving: Drive resolution of complex, multi-layered supply and service issues across the North American supply chain, engaging stakeholders at all levels.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field OR advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience

  • Military experience considered in lieu of education requirement

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong internal and external relationships and strategic partnerships.

  • 1–2 years of experience managing supplier relationships and external communications.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.

  • Background in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

  • Experience in negotiation, with formal training preferred.

  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to influence key stake
