Position Overview:

The Service Technician will diagnose vehicle service problems and perform quality repairs on assigned repairs. Fix the vehicle right the first time! Make a quality check after each repair. Advise the Service Writer of needed repairs, including parts needs, and advise the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order.

• Consistently high levels of documented customer satisfaction as measured by manufacturer, company, and dealership-sponsored surveys
• Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with management, parts personnel, and other technicians
• Assure customers consistently receive good value
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• Certifications from manufacturers or ASE are a plus
• Sense of urgency
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• 2+ years as a Service Technician in a dealership setting
• You have a technician certification (s) from an accredited technical school

 Essential Functions:

• Perform quality repairs on assigned repairs. Fix the vehicle right the first time! Make a quality check after each repair 
• Advise the Service Writer of needed repairs, including parts needs, and advise the manager of any changes or deviations from the original repair instructions on the repair order
• Complete comprehensive documentation of cause/correction, specifications, and any other pertinent information needed to describe repair activities
• Ensure current knowledge of the latest technical data and service procedures. 
• Attend required service training sessions or meetings and share expertise with others
• Maintain essential tools necessary to complete assigned jobs
• Maintainability to correctly use all company equipment and tools or seek assistance as needed. Clean and lock up all devices daily
• Perform all repairs in designated work areas unless otherwise instructed by the Group Leader

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
