EEG Technical Assistant - Gait Lab

The Electroencephalographic Technician Assistant supports the Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy Monitoring Technologists at Mayo Clinic by preparing patients for electrographic studies and performing such other tasks that are necessary for patient comfort and safety while the patient is being evaluated in the Department of Epilepsy.

The minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED. Additional work experience in a patient contact, health-care area is desirable.
Ability to adhere to policies and procedures, alertness, interaction, versatility, coping, and commitment to task.

The ideal candidate would:

1. Be comfortable working with technology/technologically savvy.
2. Be able to help move and support patients who have mobility challenges and attach them to a harness, someone is physically able to do this work.
3. Be comfortable providing direct patient care.
