YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS 

In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience. 

As the Barback, you will assist bartenders with service to keep the bar operational by stocking, cleaning, clearing and maintaining great customers service at all times. 

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE 

•  Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of bar.
• Ensure bartenders are equipped with clean glassware at all times.
• Check and refill ice bins when needed.
• Follow all opening, closing procedures during shift.
• Remove garbage and recycling from dining room and bar area when needed and dispose of in appropriate bin.
• Maintain table setting (pre-bussing) by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to customer needs during their visit.
• Confide in the managers if problems with co-workers or guests arise so that appropriate actions can be taken.
• Arrive promptly and in full uniform for all scheduled shifts, including mandatory meetings.
• Never let the guest feel like they are inconveniencing you.
• Follow and abide by all policies written in employee handbook.
• Respect all your co-workers and managers.
• Protect establishment, patrons and co-workers by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
• Create a pleasurable dining experience for all our guests.
• Leave a positive impression on the customers to ensure a return venture and potential word-of-mouth promotion.
• Have fun at work; leave baggage at the door; come to work with a positive attitude ready and willing to help create a fun and memorable experience for our guests.

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED 

Experience and/or Training 

Basic math skills required, legible handwriting, teamwork, verbal communication, strong customer service and oral communication skills. Experience in barbacking or bussing preferred. Ability to perform well under pressure. Must be 18 years of age.
