As a Principal Full Stack Application Developer, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining technical solutions that address a variety of complex business challenges. You will utilize your understanding of application development theory, concepts, and best practices to craft optimal solutions. Working collaboratively within a team, you will support multiple applications simultaneously and apply the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver high-quality results. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as you will regularly share ideas with team members and business stakeholders who may have limited technical knowledge. Additionally, you will develop a basic understanding of the underlying processes that the business applications support.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with customers, solution architects, and peers to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technical solutions.

• Communicate and present technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

• Assist team members in implementing technical solutions and troubleshooting technical issues.

• Develop an understanding of customer processes and contribute to the creation of functional requirement documentation.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience

• Front-end development experience with technologies such as: HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, Angular, AngularJS, Typescript, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX

• Back-end development experience with technologies such as: Java, RESTful web services, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, JUnit

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Database design and query experience with Oracle, MariaDB (MySQL), and/or SQL Server

• Experience with agile software development (and CI/CD practices)

• Working knowledge of Java EE design patterns and YAML

• Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
