Senior Salesforce Engineer

SOPHiA GENETICS combines deep expertise in life sciences with mathematical capabilities in data computing to create the future of AI-assisted Medicine. We are growing our Technology Services, and seeking a Salesforce Senior Engineer is part of the Global Technology Operations team.

You will be leading the ongoing development of our Salesforce Platform. You will have a record of success in process improvement and adoption using Salesforce. You will work within the Technology Operations team, and closely collaborate with colleagues in Sales Operations, Marketing, and the wider organization to identify, develop and deploy new business processes.

The Salesforce Senior Engineer will be responsible for solutioning and developing key new products, executing cricial configuration changes, providing third level support and drive the improvement of Salesforce and it’s connected applications.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will :

• Deliver high value developments on Salesforce Platform
• Providing depth of expertise to the organization on all technical aspects of the Salesforce platform including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components etc.
• Functional knowledge to coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests by collaborating closely with Sales Operations and Marketing.
• Manage the integration with the ERP system and work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and the external partners on this subject.
• Manage system integration of new tools and add-ons and pro-actively suggest new solutions.
• Work with Sales Operations, Sales Success, Educational Services and Marketing to establish and consult on suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
• Assist in training of new users and growth of the CRM skill set across the organization.
• Resolution of high priority End User issues and operational requests through service desk platform.
• Identify, research, and resolves technical problems, by analyzing different solutions and choosing the best scalable fit
• Create and Update Support documentations.

Skills Required:

• Ability to easily understand and assess business requests.
• Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on CRM and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
• Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Strong business acumen and drive to fully understand the business logic behind all processes in Salesforce

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Salesforce Administrator & Salesforce Administrator Advanced certifications.
• Security Model & Permissions and Salesforce Flow
• Preferably an experience with JIRA, Marketing Automation Tools, Conga.
• Experience in supporting B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• Proven ability to lead the technical implementation of new processes and facilitate user adoption.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, validation rules, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
• Strong understanding of CRM best practices and functionality.
• Strong data management abilities.
• A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
• Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
