Position Summary

Concordia University is accepting applications for the full-time position of Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) Program Coordinator. The Coordinator works closely with the Program Director in a wide variety of areas including but not limited to student outreach, student & instructor support, academic scheduling, planning and conducting program events, assisting students to prepare for graduation, and general administrative support. This position reports to the Director of the MSCS Program in the School of Arts and Sciences and is located in Mequon, Wisconsin. Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Chair of Computer Science to coordinate academic schedules and ensure program courses are scheduled to meet student needs
  • Advise program students concerning academic requirements and scheduling In coordination with academic advisors
  • Coordinate analytics and reports for program director to ensure data-driven decisions
  • Coordinate the "request to graduate process" for program students
  • Communicate with MSCS external constituents
  • Develop and maintain adjunct faculty gratitude program
  • Collaborate with CIC international staff, directors, and admissions counselors to support international MSCS students
  • Communicate with university offices and program faculty as needed to ensure a smooth and seamless student experience in the program
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect FERPA regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Detailed oriented with the ability to prioritize
  • Excellent, professional communication skills both written and interpersonal
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work as a member of a collaborative team
  • Ability to deal with interruptions and work in a fast pace environment
  • Knowledge and skill in the use of computer and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and skill in the use social media sites
  • Knowledge of SCT Banner and Blackboard is advantageous
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the Christian faith and Concordia University's mission
  • Able to work Monday through Friday, with occasional evening hours beyond 6 P.M.
  • Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Demonstrated experience managing the needs of multiple constituents and collaborating productively across university offices to serve student needs
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and due dates established by the university
  • Ability to interact productively and positively with international students

Compensation and Benefits
