Sr. Piping Designer - Bayport

Burrow Global is seeking to hire an experienced Sr. Piping Designer for a long term assignment with a plant in Pasadena, TX.  

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience as a Sr. Piping Designer with some experience in Civil /Structural design.  Candidates will be working with AutoCad 2022.  Experience with CadWorx Plant is a plus.

Candidates will be required to go to the field and dimensionally route pipe (this includes basic supporting requirements, spacing, etc.) take field notes, measurements and create field sketches in order to generate layouts and isometric.  Experience locating and setting equipment (pumps, exchangers). Candidates for this position must be able to identify design issues and make suggestions for changes. 

Candidates must have a solid understand piping specifications, routing / layout plan, isometrics w/bill of materials.  This position will work with 2-d drawings.  Candidates will be responsible for updating key plans, general routing layouts and isometrics.

Candidates for this position must have experience developing engineering packages needed for construction. Additional duties will involve checking on the status of the construction progress and answer questions as they arise. Experience with MOC’s is not required but a plus.

Experience supporting plant engineering and plant maintenance is needed.

Candidates with project management experience will rise to the top of the interview list.  

Shift: 6:30am to 4:00pm (30 min lunch) working a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).
