As we are experiencing high internal demand, we are now expanding our Strategic Information Security & Data Privacy team and hiring these four distinct Student Assistant positions, each with its own area of responsibility:
Position A – Student Assistant for: Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security: Governance, Regulations and Ethics
Position B – Student Assistant for: Data Privacy & Information Security: Training and Awareness
Position C – Student Assistant for: Data Privacy: Operational GDPR Compliance
Position D – Student Assistant for: Vendor Security Assessments, Customer Inquiries and Risk Reporting

About the team:
At our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our Strategic Information Security & Data Privacy team, part of Corporate Affairs.
We work with the global GN Group’s corporate risk, information security and data privacy at a strategic level – translating rules and regulations into internal requirements and policies for our global organization and for our products worldwide.
The four positions at a glance: Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Position A – Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security: Governance, Regulations and Ethics
In this role, you will work with AI and cyber security regulation and laws across GN.
What you will do
Handle requests and support internal documentation of AI systems (not AI development).
Read and interpret new AI and cyber security regulations, laws, and standards.
Convert regulatory and technical insights into internal policies (e.g. Word) and training material (e.g. PowerPoint).
What you bring
You are likely a master’s student within IT, data science, business intelligence, engineering or law.
You may have a technical focus but are motivated to work with regulation, governance and communication.
You are curious, willing to learn new systems and processes, and comfortable collaborating in diverse teams.
Position B – Data Privacy & Information Security: Training and Awareness
In this role, you will help improve GN’s privacy and security culture by ensuring our global training and awareness activities.
What you will do
Set up and maintain privacy, AI and information security training and awareness activities in our HR learning system.
Support the development and rollout of data privacy e‑learning modules and other training campaigns.
Help plan and execute awareness campaigns, including phishing simulations, and support follow-up and reporting on participation and completion.
Keep our Data Privacy SharePoint site up to date and support other communication, awareness and documentation activities.
What you bring
You are a structured, communicative student who enjoys combining privacy/security topics with stakeholder management, communication and digital tools.
You may have some knowledge of data privacy and information security: If not, we will introduce you to the subjects.
You may be studying communication, business, IT, social sciences or a related field.
Position C – Data Privacy: Operational GDPR Compliance
In this role, you will be closely involved in our day-to-day GDPR compliance.
What you will do
Handle data subject access requests (DSARs) from customers and employees, from receipt to final response.
Over time, take end-to-end ownership of the DSAR process, including identifying and ensure improvements and automation.
Support global data transfer compliance by preparing Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) in close collaboration with Legal Counsel and business stakeholders.
Contribute to other privacy tasks and projects, such as maintaining records, supporting privacy documentation, and improving processes and tools.
You will build a wide internal network across the organization and work directly with GDPR in practice.
