Maintenance and Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing a data analysis tool for determining problematic areas, using our CMMS MaintainX, for continuous improvement project determination and assist with implementation of those continuous improvement projects 
• Projects may include equipment failure analysis, equipment improvement design and facility drawing updates (AutoCAD) 

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree program 
• Experience in mechanical and some industrial instrumentation and controls preferred 
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hour shifts with lifting to 50 lbs. periodically throughout shift 
• Able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, kneel as needed to perform work 
• Experience in industrial instrumentation and controls equipment such as: electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, AC/DC/Servo motor control, drives and/or PLC's programming preferred
• Excellent customer service values and results-oriented
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, recommend actions and work as a team
• Printing or Packing equipment maintenance experience preferred 
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360 drawing software is required 
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, fabrication, and welding experience is a plus

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The compensation rate is $21.00/hr. 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program.  Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .  In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
