Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel Jackson is seeking a leader for the position of Sales Manager.  The successful candidate will be a leader capable of ensuring the Nucor Steel Jackson Team delivers on our commitment to become the world's safest steel company and continues the development of a capable and motivated team that can achieve the operational performance necessary to achieve our commercial objectives.  This will require the candidate to support Nucor Steel Jackson's strategic intent of Living Injury Free, Maximizing Profitability, Becoming the Preferred Rebar Source, and Developing our Team.  Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively throughout the division leadership team to inspire the entire operation.  Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three years of combined experience in commercial, sales, leadership and/or marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Commercial leadership experience in steel and/or manufacturing
