Role overview

A Senior Business System Analyst is sought to design, document, and support implementation teams that are responsible for integrity and stability of enterprise applications at CarGurus.

What you'll do

• Participate in & facilitate workshops/deep dives with large stakeholder groups across many business units to gather information
• Create and maintain process flows to document business processes
• Map business requirements (in the form of process flows and documentation)
• Create and manage functional design documents 
• Review and provide feedback on the technical design build with EA Architects and Product Managers
• Create user acceptance test plans and coordinate UAT testing for system enhancements or new implementations 
• Support the creation of training material and training facilitation
• Analyze and document end to end flow of current state processes and technical implementations
• Analyze, document, and efficiently communicate areas of opportunity in the process by leveraging industry best practices
• Recommend, propose, and document end to end flow of future state requirements (using industry best practice)
• Compile and reconcile stakeholder feedback on current and future state proposals
• Analyze document and efficiently communicate risks throughout the process
• Write user stories - including desired business value, acceptance criteria, test criteria, and technical support information
• Partner with Enterprise Applications development team to present proof of concept and development demos to stakeholders

• 5+ years of BA/BSA experience 
• Self-starters, proactive
• Ability to navigate ambiguous environment
• Independent, able to own and drive their assignments and help LEAD the initiative

• Effective communicator (written and verbal)
• Comfortable asking questions to understand business processes
