GE Vernova is seeking an experienced and forward-looking Security Technologies Leader to champion the integration of AI, intelligent automation, and advanced security technologies, embedding transformational capabilities into a global physical security strategy that protects our people, assets, and operations worldwide.Operating at the intersection of security, digital technology, and operational resilience, this role designs and advances a globally integrated ecosystem of security technologies. The Security Technologies Leader ensures the company operates with modern, intelligence-enabled platforms that strengthen situational awareness, enable proactive risk management, and enable timely, effective responses supporting safe and reliable operations across regions and businesses.
Partnering closely with Digital Technology, Corporate/Regional Security, EHS, Cybersecurity, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Sourcing, the role ensures security platforms and software are secure-by-design, interoperable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
As the technical leader for all security systems and platforms, the Security Technologies Leader drives technology strategy, architecture, and implementation discipline across the enterprise. The role evaluates emerging technologies, strengthens integration across existing systems, and ensures that security technology investments deliver measurable operational value and resilience.
This position plays a critical role in evolving GE Vernova’s security technology landscape into a modern, data-enabled capability that supports rapid decision-making, incident visibility, and coordinated response across the company’s global footprint.

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced and forward-looking Security Technologies Leader to champion the integration of AI, intelligent automation, and advanced security technologies into a global physical security strategy that protects people, assets, and operations worldwide. Operating at the intersection of security, digital technology, and operational resilience, this role is responsible for advancing a globally integrated ecosystem of security technologies that improves situational awareness, enables proactive risk management, and supports timely, effective incident response. The Security Technologies Leader will ensure security platforms are modern, intelligence-enabled, scalable, interoperable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Working closely with Digital Technology, Corporate and Regional Security, EHS, Cybersecurity, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and Sourcing, this role will support secure-by-design implementation across the enterprise. This position plays a critical role in modernizing GE Vernova’s security technology landscape to support rapid decision-making, incident visibility, and coordinated global response.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and sustain the enterprise architecture for physical security technologies including access control, video management systems, analytics platforms, and incident management tools.
- Lead the design, evaluation, deployment, and continuous improvement of security technology solutions across GE Vernova facilities and operations globally.
- Ensure interoperability and integration between physical security systems, enterprise data platforms, and digital technology infrastructure using modern architecture, APIs, and middleware.
- Partner with Digital Technology, Cybersecurity, and regional security teams to ensure platforms meet standards for reliability, cybersecurity, privacy, data governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI-enabled video analytics, computer vision, sensor networks, and advanced situational awareness platforms to strengthen operational resilience.
- Establish governance, standards, vendor strategy, sourcing support, lifecycle management practices, and minimum specifications for physical security technology deployments.
Required Qualifications (Outside of US)
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Security Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong experience in enterprise security technology, physical security systems, or critical infrastructure protection, including global or complex operating environments.
- Demonstrated success designing, deploying, and integrating enterprise physical security platforms with digital technology and enterprise infrastructure.
- Proven ability to translate operational security requirements into scalable technology architecture and lead complex projects with strong tracking, accountability, and stakeholder reporting.
