Our Central Division plays a vital role in ensuring that our operational and administrative functions are delivered efficiently, enabling us to maintain the highest standards of care across our organisation.Priory are recruiting a Service Development ABI (Acquired brain injury) Lead. The is a full time role, working 37.5 hous per week.

Remote, National travel required
What you'll be doing
To support sustainable occupancy and service growth for specialist residential ABI (Acquired brain injury) services by developing strong, credible relationships with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and NHS partners, ensuring placements are clinically appropriate, outcomes-focused, and aligned to local system priorities, including reducing out-of-area placements, delayed discharges, and health inequalities.The Service Development ABI lead will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups and other commissioners of Specialist Residential and Supported Living. The candidate will have strong key account management skills and will work to maintain existing relationships and initiate new relationships to promote services to the market. In addition, the ABI lead will work with commissioners to understand market requirements to allow appropriate development of existing services and provide guidance on the need for new services. The ABI lead working closely with Service Development managers to support achieving budget.
What you'll bring to the role
- Achieve budgeted regional census across all services.
- Understand the Adult Care business development strategy within the context of the wider Governmental social care strategy and develop early business intelligence to respond to this.
- Develop processes to ensure appropriate action is taken to understand and reverse adverse movement in contract activity/financial positions.
- Assist with the creation of Business Case reports through the use of operational knowledge and market intelligence.
- Identify potential contract and other joint working opportunities and progress as required.
- Support the Marketing team in developing key materials that support growth across the division.
- Work with the Bidding team to identify and fully evaluate opportunities, including public sector tenders, researching the market and competitive environment in order to produce commissioning specific and viable tender submissions, supporting with the development of these opportunities as required.

- Graduate or equivalent with a proven track record of new business development, ideally within the social care sector.
- Proven self-starter with excellent track record in delivering against sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

- Experience in business development, commissioning, or referral management within NHS-facing health or social care services
- Strong understanding of ICB structures, commissioning processes, and NHS pathways
