Description

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina has an excellent opportunity for an Executive Director/Administrator for the Columbia Presbyterian Community. The banks of the Saluda River create a natural setting for this 173-unit Life Plan Community’s 30-acre campus. This community consists of 53 Independent Living apartments and cottages, 56 Assisted Living Apartments, 20 Memory Care accommodations, and a 44 bed Rehabilitation Center, offering both short-term and long-term care services in a Medicare Certified environment with a strong rehabilitation/therapy emphasis.

This position is structured to oversee the day-to-day operations of the community to assure the highest degree of quality services, effective employee engagement, conformity with financial expectations for revenue and expenses, and the compliance with state and federal regulations. A meaningful ability to highlight and uphold resident and client satisfaction is important for success.

A demonstrated ability to lead and inspire staff toward shared goals and to celebrate accomplishments, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of managerial experience in senior living operations, preferably as an Administrator in the Medicare regulatory environment.

Requirements

Other requirements include: A proven leader with stated examples of influencing others toward reaching mutual goals; a self-starter with demonstrated evidence of innovative senior programming implementation, and excellent communication skills. Progressive executive leadership experience preferred. Current, unencumbered South Carolina Nursing Home Administrator’s and Community Residential Care (Assisted Living) licenses or meet the licensure requirements of the State of South Carolina.
