About The Team
This role is on the Strategic Finance team, which supports company-wide decision-making by delivering financial analysis, operational finance support (planning and budgeting), and insights for corporate development and investor relations. The team partners across nearly every function at Life360 to provide data-driven guidance that enables growth and efficiency.
About the Job
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to provide broad-based financial and strategic support across the business. This role will be working across subscriptions, marketing, advertising, and other emerging priorities.
You will be responsible for building financial models, driving forecasting and budgeting processes, analyzing performance drivers, and delivering actionable insights. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys solving problems across different domains, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to make an impact across multiple areas of the business.
You will play a leading role in helping drive strategic decisions for the business by translating strategy into financial impact. In addition to the strategic side, you will be involved in the operational tasks surrounding forecasting and planning and the day-to-day business operations to ensure the team is meeting annual targets and KPIs. This role will have a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally and use quantitative insights to guide better decision-making across the organization.
The US-based salary range for this position is $103,500 to $152,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
What You’ll Do
- Provide financial and analytical support across subscriptions, marketing, advertising and other key business areas, as well as emerging initiatives as they arise
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, costs, and contribution profit.
- Support cross-functional teams with budgeting, forecasting, headcount and operating expense forecasts, business case evaluation and strategic modeling, and ad hoc analyses
- Take full ownership and accountability of assigned workstreams, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and actionable
- Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis, identifying key performance drivers.
- Track, analyze, and report functional costs and their impact on the company’s overall performance
- Translate business initiatives into financial impacts to support decision-making.
- Contribute to annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning cycles.
- Improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation and scalability.
- Maintain an exceptional level of attention to detail in financial modeling, reporting, and analysis, producing work that consistently withstands rigorous scrutiny
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 5+ years of experience, with a strong preference for investment banking backgrounds. Exceptional candidates with corporate or strategic finance experience, particularly in high-growth tech environments, are also encouraged to apply.
