Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Night Shift

Location: Dayton General Hospital – Emergency Department; Dayton, WA

Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift (6:45pm - 7:15am) 

Compensation: $45.00 - $65.63 per hour, with ED Experience (includes Night Shift differential) 

                       
3 Shifts Per Week| 2 Weekends/Month Required | Float to Acute Care Unit as needed

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for Dayton General Hospital to provide exceptional care in the Emergency Department and support Acute Care as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, team-oriented, and able to respond effectively in critical situations, all while embracing the unique challenges and rewards of working in a rural community.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license; or active Multi-State License
• Current ACLS, PALS, TNCC (or willingness to renew within 3 months)
• BLS certification every 2 years
   

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department and float to Acute Care as needed.
• Administer medications and assist with patient admissions.
• Document patient information in the EHR.
• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care.
• Check and maintain equipment and supplies in the ED.
• Lead or assist in trauma and code situations.
• Support Acute Care unit when ED is not busy.
• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and strong clinical judgment.
• Complete additional duties as assigned to support department operations.
