Global Network Architect

Job Summary: 

Enovix is seeking a Network Architect / Sr. System Administrator to support the Global IT Infrastructure in the US, Malaysia, India, Korea, and China. Responsible for strategic planning, architecture, high level design, security, and optimization of the Enovix network. Set and ensure standards and architecture. Work with infrastructure team to ensure systems, applications, and connectivity are deployed securely and adheres to security and compliance policies. Support the network architecture needs of the business and our partners. Work with the Security Policy group to improve security policies by filling gaps and providing subject matter expertise. Facilitate progress of projects as a subject matter expert, working within and outside of the System Engineering area.
 

Responsibilities: 

• Assessment and recommendations regarding network design, network management applications, systems, and processes

• Project planning and implementation for local and cloud IT Infrastructure projects

• Monitoring and Reporting on Global Network activities

• Coordinating with local IT teams in each region on project implementation and support issues

• Network-level operational support

• Effective Communication of project status and overall network health

• Creation and maintenance of detailed design and support documentation

• Research new tools and technologies

• Knowledge transfer to supporting teams (turn-over) 

• Administration of server/storage environments, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud a plus

Qualifications: 

What’s Needed- Basic Qualifications:
 

• 10+ years of experience in Network Design, Network Management, and/or Network Security

• Experience with enterprise network, management, and security technologies

• Experience with TCP/IP and common network protocols

• Experience with routing, switching, and IP subnetting

• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google)

What’s Needed- Preferred Qualifications:
 

• PCNSA, CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, and / or other technical certifications highly desirable

• Experience with virtualization technologies, Cisco networking technologies, Application Network Services including SLB, GSLB, and Application Acceleration technologies

• Experience with data center LAN and WAN design

• Experience with WLAN design

• Experience performing detailed Risk Assessments

• Technical writing experience

• Strong troubleshooting skills including detailed packet capture and analysis

• Cloud background desired

• Proficient knowledge of project management methodologies and or leading large technical projects

• Demonstrate strong communication and inter-personal skills

• Proven ability to succeed in a multi-task, team-oriented environment

• Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision

Base salary range

 $135,360  -   $235,680
