Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
The Monetization Strategy Director will be a trusted advisor and thought leader for the Customer & Industry Workflow Business Unit to drive impactful monetization strategies from idea to execution.
- Partner with the Customer & Industry Workflow BU to co-develop and lead packaging, bundling, and pricing strategies for new and current offerings
- Engage in New Product Introduction process to successfully operationalize monetization strategies, working cross-functionally across product management, operations, sales, marketing, finance, and legal
- Gather qualitative and quantitative market insights and drivers to inform field and BU views for new or current offerings
- Define, track and measure pricing KPIs, identify actionable insights on packaging and pricing performance, implement continuous pricing optimization plan, and drive this process
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise technology industry and/or 5+ years in management consulting across strategic planning, pricing, and/or product strategy and management
- Successful track-record developing, leading, and operationalizing packaging and pricing strategies for software businesses through cross-functional collaboration
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building capabilities with cross-functional counterparts
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems and communicate strategic recommendations at multiple levels in a matrix organization (Product, Sales, Pricing, Mangers, VPs, GMs)
- Experience with synthesizing large data sets and applying analytical methodologies to uncover insights
- Experience running pricing studies focused on competitors, customers, and seller behavior
- Strong understanding of value-based pricing theories
- Bachelor degree in business, economics, or other quantitative disciplines. Graduate degree in above disciplines a plus
For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $173,100 - $302,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
