Software Developer

Description

Design and write software technical specifications, develop software code, carry out development testing, and support business solutions of varying degrees throughout the project life cycle. The detailed responsibilities include: 

• Develop and implement the code based on functional specifications by following the code standards and Agile methodologies. 
• Develop web-based applications using JavaScript, ES6, React, TypeScript, and MS Visual Studio Code. 
• Design UI web pages using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX calls. Create, and consume web services using Java Spring Web API platform for REST services. Create table structures, write, and develop stored procedures, functions, triggers, Constraints, Indexes, Views, and Cursors, and fine-tune, and optimize Queries using SQL and Postgres Database. 
• Use GitHub for Project Management and JIRA for Getting Tasks and Issues. 
• Coordinate technical aspects of operations such as solving production Environment, Rewriting the existing modules, fixing logical bugs, and troubleshooting in the application. Work with the BA & QA team to fix the raised bugs based on the business requirement by performing analysis to find the root cause. 
• Submit weekly status reports to report the work progress, completed tasks, and pending tasks at the end of two weeks. 
• Track project progress and bugs including deriving product backlog items using JIRA to be involved in the team's software development lifecycle. 

Requirements

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology-related field
• Skills/knowledge of Agile methodology
