Salary Exempt (United States of America)The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficient and accurate handling of inventory and efficient usage of warehouse space. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of warehouse procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse; inspects equipment; issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Works closely with production planning to ensure ample supply of raw materials and timely deliveries.
- Controls inventory levels by assisting with physical counts, reconciling with data storage system.
- Coordinates production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with principles, policies, and established procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Demonstrates a strong service quality ethic through personal example. Ensures that all associates have a thorough understanding of their individual roles in meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
- Communication across Altium sites and functions.
- Partnering with internal and external maintenance for warehouse equipment upkeep.
- Managing and updating department KPI’s.
- Root cause analysis of reoccurring issues.
- Controls Finished goods using FIFO (First in first out) best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of experience in a warehouse management role leading/building a team of direct reports.
- Experience with food grade products.
- Prior experience in the transportation field.
- Experience in managing multiple shifts.
- JDE experience required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft 365 to include Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse management software required.
- Implementation of WMS (Warehouse Management System) a plus.

- Building a structure of continuous improvement and coaching warehouse team for implementation.
- Introduction of inventory workflows.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and material handling equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to perform data entry on the computer, and to handle and set the quality measuring devices. Ability to walk across the plant several times throughout the shift as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
