We’re looking for an experienced Senior Staff AI Security Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for helping build and design solutions for LLM Model Scanning and security concerns.
You’ll work at the intersection of application security, AI governance, and advanced ML frameworks, helping shape enterprise-level standards for safe and responsible AI adoption.

Core Responsibilities:
- Design, and solve cutting edge AI security problems for LLM Models built in ServiceNow within the Application Security space
- Research emerging LLM Model threats, and methods to reduce risk for an enterprise organization
- Creating policies, standards, and recommending enterprise level controls for reducing AI or LLM Model security risks.
- Maintain, build, and keep services within acceptable SLA standards for reliability and operational excellence
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
- 12+ Years of experience as a Security Engineer
- Strong experience having built a GenAI product and put into production
- Expert in Application Security Concepts & Tools (Such as SAST, DAST, SCA, OWASP Top Ten, SDLC)
- Proficient in DevSecOps practices and concepts, such as CI/CD Pipeline Security, container security
- Proficient in Cloud Services and Infrastructure
- Expert in programming languages such as Python, Rust or Go, and Juypter notebooks
- Proficient in ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace
- Strong understanding of AI Governance, privacy, compliance frameworks
- Strong understanding of AI Model development, adversarial attacks (evasion, poisoning, backdoors) of models, prompt injection, and LLM misuse
Stretch Requirements:
- Familiar with Jenkins
- Experience building security scanning tools such as SAST, DAST, or SCA
- Familiar with ServiceNow Development
- Experienced in integrating vendor security tools into custom enterprise solutions
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial intelligence, or a related field
