Description
General Kinematics is the premier manufacturer of vibrating equipment for the processing of bulk materials. From vibratory feeders to entire process systems, General Kinematics creates the solutions customers require to process even the most difficult materials.
We are currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing and assembling orders for shipment, and ensuring accurate inventory transactions. The role works closely with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support efficient operations and timely delivery of products.
Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks.
- Check incoming shipments to make sure parts and quantities match the purchase order.
- Enter received materials into the ERP system (Syteline).
- Move materials to the correct location in the building.
- Pick parts and prepare orders for shipment.
- Package and stage shipments for pickup.
- Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
- Support company quality and ISO standards.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Regular lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Work is performed in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Pay: $18-$22 paid hourly. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, geography, and internal equity.
