Position Overview:
Michael Kors is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Product Setup Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end product lifecycle for product setup. This role will primarily focus on project management and coordination, involving the collection and consolidation of information from various sources. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient setup of our data products, contributing to the success and growth of our ecommerce platform. Strong problem-solving as well as project management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment are essential while communicating, collaborating, and supporting an open work ethic.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Project Management: Coordinate the end-to-end setup of the products and their data, working with cross-functional teams such as site merchandising, editorial, photography, and in-house production teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, such as Custom (engraving), copy and product attributions, to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Collaborate with the photography team and merch/buying on sample coordination, missing samples, and imagery.
- Provide accurate copy on time and collaborate cross-functionally with photography, editorial, and product merch teams.
- Ensure accurate product attributions and troubleshoot any issues for each season.
- Coordinate translations on copy if required for the CA French and US Spanish site as well as the EU translated site..
- Upload amended copy due to inaccuracies or merch/buying/customer service call outs.
- Address any imagery issues with the DC and the photography team across global locations (EU, CA, and US).
Data Collection: Collaborate with relevant teams and departments to gather data from diverse sources, including Smartsheets, excel sheets, third-party platforms, and other relevant resources.
- Data Consolidation: Consolidate and organize data collected from different sources to ensure accuracy, integrity, and relevance.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough data quality checks to identify and resolve any inconsistencies, errors, or discrepancies in the collected data.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, data sources, and methods to enable seamless and smooth collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring that everyone is well-informed about project deliverables, timelines, and requirements.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines and recommend appropriate solutions or workarounds.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and optimize data collection and consolidation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy, while meeting strict deadlines.
- Support the Director of Digital Commerce & Strategy with other projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Able to prioritize large amounts of work to meet hard deadlines
- Some experience working within buying or multiple cross-functional teams
- Strong PC and MS Excel skills
