Responsibilities
- Design, layout, simulate, and optimize memory circuits and semiconductor devices to meet performance, power, area, and reliability requirements.
- Develop and support schematic blocks including memory arrays, control logic, address decoding, datapath circuitry, and internal test logic using industry-standard tools such as SPICE and Verilog.
- Perform circuit verification, parasitic extraction analysis, design rule optimization, and debug activities to improve functionality, manufacturability, and yield.
- Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to define test chip strategies, support silicon validation, and resolve product development challenges.
- Apply AI-Enabled tools and methodologies to improve design efficiency, enhance analysis workflows, and drive continuous improvements in the semiconductor design process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Basic understanding of memory array architectures, memory circuits, and semiconductor device operation.
- Experience with circuit simulation, setup, debugging, and analysis using industry-standard simulation tools.
- Ability to interpret device specifications and translate requirements into functional circuit designs.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to engineering peers and management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing semiconductor circuits, memory products, or related integrated circuit technologies.
- Knowledge of circuit layout, parasitic extraction, and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) methodologies.
- Experience using SPICE, Verilog, or comparable circuit design and verification tools.
- Understanding of the impact of architectural decisions on power consumption, speed, area, and overall product performance.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI-Enabled solutions, data-driven approaches, or automation techniques to improve engineering productivity and design quality.
