Job Overview:

The Admin Asst role at A&K Railroad Materials is an entry-level position within our Fasteners & Special Products group. This role supports the building and maintenance of railway infrastructure by organizing, recording purchase orders, and ensuring the availability of essential materials. We're seeking a motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow within our organization.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, plans, and product information.
• Collaborate with various teams and departments to prioritize projects and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist with basic accounting tasks related to materials procurement and inventory management.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 and other software tools to manage data and track inventory effectively.
• Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
• Support inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Work closely with cross-functional groups to provide product information for bids and other requests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent prioritization skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
