Job Title:         Senior GIS Technologist

Job Duties:            

• Responsible for overall health of GIS Technical Solution or specific components of the solution; act as the ESRI enterprise implementation team evaluations; install physical implementation definition; serve as an ESRI ARCSDE specialist and expert in geospatial data: conduct GIS imagery, geospatial data management, design, and modeling;  gather and analyze geospatial requirements; produce and implement technical solution configuration and components; conduct technology evaluations; install and optimize enterprise GIS; administer and troubleshoot enterprise GIS; and oversee the translation of design into deliverables via implementation and deployment.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Geography, Geographic Information Science, or closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation utilizing geospatial data management strategies; implementing aspects of physical design installs; configurating and optimizing enterprise GIS design into deliverables and deployment; and utilizing ESRI ARCGIS suite technologies such as ARCGIS Desktop, ARCGIS Server, ARCGIS Online, Portal for ARCGIS, WEBAPP Builder, or PYTHON.
