What You Will Do:
This position is a non-billable, full time business development position in Guidehouse State and Local Government. The person in this role is focused on sourcing, developing, and closing Workday services deals with the Guidehouse Digital Solutions – Workday practice.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for originating, retaining, and strengthening client relationships"
- Prospects for new clients in states, large cities, and large counties heavily focused on the Western US.
- Develops and maintains relationships with Workday sales reps
- Understands Guidehouse service offerings in other areas (non-Workday) for benefit of existing clients and prospects
- Captures information on competitive situation in ERP replacement situations
- Attends conferences and marketing events relevant to optimization and automation of Backoffice (FINS and HCM) in state and local government
What You Will Need:
- 10 years of relevant professional work experience with sales experience in several recent years with an emphasis in Enterprise solution sales with Workday with
- 3 years of experience selling to state and local government
- Experience cold calling and developing net new prospects
- 3 years Workday services sales in state and local government
- Knowledge of the ERP partner ecosystem and knowledge of ERP software offerings
- Ability to travel up to 70%
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Ability to lead Workday product demonstrations
- 3+ years ERP services sales in state and local government
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
- Ability to write sections of RFP responses and proposals
- Preference will be given to those living in or near Guidehouse Offices in the Western US.
