Principal Product Manager, Workflows

Job Description

We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to join Procore’s Financials team in the Workflow division. In this role, you’ll create a multi-development team plan to deliver business outcomes per the strategic vision of the global self-service workflow engine product. Your goal will be to drive the adoption of the workflow offering across the entire customer base.

As a Principal Product Manager, you’ll partner with Designers, Engineers, fellow PMs, and product leaders to discover, clarify, and evangelize the future of the workflow product offering. Put your prioritization and communication skills to work in stakeholder management and cross-division initiative planning. Use strong customer-centricity to solve problems and drive the adoption of workflows across the customer base.

Financials is a fast-paced, high-functioning, mature Product division; we're looking for results-oriented whole-product thinkers to join our team and help improve the lives of everyone in construction. 

This position reports to the Director of Product, Financials with the opportunity to be located in the Austin, TX office or work remotely from Austin, TX. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do: 

• Discover, clarify, and evangelize the future of the product area which requires constantly talking with a large volume of customers

• Create a multi-team roadmap to deliver vision - including writing product requirements and ensuring cross-functional shared understanding of work to be done

• Manage internal and external stakeholders

• Manage go-to-market motion for product offering

• Create and track progress against business outcomes

• Contribute to product strategy

• Mentor junior product managers

What we’re looking for:

• 5-8 years of direct product management experience

• Knowledge of construction industry-specific softwares’ capabilities in the workflow space or knowledge of comparable SaaS software capabilities in the workflow space

• Team player with a bend toward servant-leadership

• Tenacious, hard-working, critical thinker 

• Excellent written and verbal communicator; professional presenter

• Data-driven decision maker

• Proactively and eagerly seeks feedback

• Comfortable working with high levels of ambiguity

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $185,800 - $255,475. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
