Spring 2025 Data Analytics Intern

 The Opportunity: 

• Look at reports, and utilize critical thinking skills to analyze data with triggers and parameters. 
• Partner and collaborate with colleagues on findings and provide data insights. 
• Utilize various data technology such as excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Epic Applied Systems and more for daily work. 
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested.

• Be of rising junior, senior, or graduate-level standing at an accredited college or university. Hylant will also accept applications of students who have graduated and earned a college degree within the past seven months. 
• Maintain an average GPA of 3.0 or higher. 
• Have the ability to work from Indianapolis or Bloomington offices.
• Have the ability to work 20-37.5 hours/week
• Have interest in a long-term career in insurance. 
• Be involved in extracurricular activities and/or have a part-time job. While not required, we highly recommend getting involved! 
• Major Risk Management and Insurance, Data Analytics, or Actuarial Science. While not required, some background in these industries will help! 
• Be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Work is generally performed in a typical office environment with limited exposure to physical risk or physical effort required.
