QA Coordinator, Mammography - FT, Days

Job Summary

Performs a variety of tasks to ensure that all breast imaging facilities maintain accreditation. Collects, compiles and presents all questions/answers data pertinent to mammography.

Essential Functions

• Collects and monitors daily questions/answer values to assure all equipment is within guidelines.

• Complies and provides data for annual inspections.

• Maintains technologist/physician education records required

• Assures all records are current and accurate in computerized program for review.

• Assists with and assures all annual equipment inspections are completed and recorded for review.

• Stays abreast of organizational, affiliate and departmental changes/updates by checking email on each shift.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - Associate degree in Radiologic Technology

• Experience - Two (2) years mammography experience

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

• ARRT Certification

• SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)

• BLS

• Maintains ACR accreditations at all affiliated facilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Able to remains abreast of changes and new procedures by attending educational seminars or classes and reading job related material.

• Basic computer skills

• Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copie
