The targeted compensation range for this full time year round, non-exempt position is $21- 25 hr. The position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Resorts Collection

Job Description

  • Room Allocation:

    • Assign rooms to reservations based on guest preferences, special requests, and availability.
    • Manage room blocks for groups, VIPs, and special events.
    • Ensure that all guest rooms are ready for arrival, coordinating with Housekeeping and Maintenance departments as needed.
    • Lead pre-arrival meeting 
  • Guest Services:

    • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests regarding room changes, upgrades, and other accommodations.
    • Resolve any issues related to room assignments, ensuring guest satisfaction.
    • Communicate effectively with the front desk, housekeeping, engineering and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Oversees the Guest Experience department which includes a hybrid of Concierge/ PBX department.
  • Inventory Management:

    • Monitor room inventory to maximize occupancy and revenue.  This includes Hotel Rooms and Residences.
    • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness for guest arrival experience.
    • Liaison with Engineering to resolve room related issues promptly.
    • Manage overbooking situations and relocations, if necessary.
    • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and special requests.
  • Coordination and Communication:

    • Coordinates coding, ordering, and communication of all guest room amenities, communicating between Housekeeping, Front Desk, + In-Room Dining departments.
    • Leads the Pre-Arrival team and the Guest Itineraries, actively booking Spa, Restaurants, Transportation, Amenities and local experiences to create extraordinary guest experiences at Auberge Madeline.
    • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage departments to ensure guest rooms are prepared and serviced to high standards.
    • Communicate any special guest requests or requirements to the relevant departments.
    • Provide regular updates to the Front Office Manager on room status and any operational challenges.
    • Actively involved in weekly revenue meeting contributing to the communication of rooms bookings, and feedback.
  • Reporting and Administration:

    • Prepare and maintain reports on room allocation, occupancy rates, and guest feedback.
    • Ensures room inventory details are accurately being communicated and sold thru our online and reservation channels.
    • Update and manage reservation systems and other relevant software.
    • Assist with the check-in and check-out process during peak times or as needed.
  • Team Training:
    • Actively involved in training our teams on Room Control procedures.
    • Actively involved in training our team on Guest Experience procedures.
  • Other Duties as Assigned by Management 

Qualifications

 

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience:

    • Previous experience in front office operations or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
    • Experience with property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
  • Skills:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with composure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
