The Lead Technician, QC Raw Materials is responsible for collecting, coordinating and ensuring availability of raw material samples for testing internally and at Contract Laboratories.
The role:
- Sampling of raw materials according to established specifications. Coordinate and delivery of samples to QC lab for internal testing of raw materials.
- Works closely with Quality Control and Material Control for coordination of raw materials for sampling and testing. May also interact with Project Managers on raw material coordination.
- Maintain raw materials retain samples program – sampling raw material retains according to established specifications, logging-in and storage.
- Shipping of raw material samples to Contract Testing Laboratories (CTL).
- Flexibility in following unique campaign requirements that may include off-hour and weekend work
- Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment to meet client deadlines under minimal supervision
The candidate:
- High School Diploma Required
- 2-4 years of relevant experience working in a cGMP environment
- Experience with raw material sampling preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal communication skills with outside contract laboratories
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
- Ability to lift 20 pound of material
The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $58,240-$80,080 plus an annual bonus target. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
