Scheduling Agent (After-hours & Weekends)

Position Summary
First Responder Protective Services (FRPS) is hiring several part time After-Hours Scheduling Agents to support critical security operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role is ideal for dependable, self-motivated professionals seeking remote work with an after-hours schedule.
Scheduling Agents report directly to the FRPS Off-Duty Police Scheduling Manager. Initial onboarding and training will be conducted in-office during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). Upon successful completion of training, this position transitions to fully remote, requiring the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Scheduling Agents play a vital role in maintaining continuity of operations by managing after-hours communications, updating the scheduling system, monitoring escort activity, and escalating issues through appropriate channels.
Ideal Candidate must be located in the DFW and able to complete training in-office
Schedule & After-Hours Coverage
This position is designated for after-hours and weekend operations and includes a schedule outside of standard business hours. Candidates should be comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a rotating or assigned schedule.
- Monday–Friday (Evenings): 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday: 24-hour coverage (2:00 AM – 2:00 AM)
This role supports mission-critical coverage during non-business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Dispatch Operations
- Coordinate and assign officers and security guard shifts across multiple client sites
- Manage last-minute schedule changes and ensure proper coverage
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and spreadsheets
After-Hours Communications
- Answer and respond to incoming phone calls, text messages, and emails from guards, Cargo Escort, Off- duty Police, Sales line and clients
- Provide timely, clear, and proactive communication to support smooth operations
Escort Operations Monitoring
- Perform real-time tracking and updates of high-value cargo escort teams nationwide
- Monitor GPS tracking systems, live security cameras, and conduct regular status checks
Administrative & Operational Support
- Assist with data entry, document organization, and recordkeeping
- Submit new client lead requests via online forms in a timely manner
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional experience handling phone, text, and email communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Familiarity with GPS tracking and monitoring systems (preferred)
- Prior experience in scheduling, dispatching, or security operations (preferred)
