<p>The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in five programs: Climate, Air Pollution, Nature and Urban Health; Environment and Health over the Lifecourse; Global Viral and Bacterial Infections; Malaria and Neglected Parasitic Diseases and Maternal Child and Reproductive Health. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.</p><h3><strong>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</strong></h3><p>ISGlobal is looking for Senior Project Manager. The candidate will work on the Horizon Europe project ‘International Human Exposome Network (IHEN)’. IHEN project has received funding from Horizon Europe (grant agreement 101137317) and it is focused on building the international network, tools, and roadmap needed to achieve our overall goal to improve global research and cooperation on the exposome. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating activities, fulfilling administrative requirements, communications with the partners and within the ISGlobal team and also for external communications with the funders. He/She will be responsible for coordinating the scientific and financial annual and final reports and deliverables.<br/></p><ul></ul><h3><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIE</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Management of the partners</strong></li>
<li>Preparation and coordination of meetings (Project Team, partners, contributing experts)</li>
<li>Agenda and minutes writing</li>
<li>Follow up on action items within the team and with partners</li>
<li>Assist coordinator and partners in preparation and submission of scientific and financial reports</li>
<li>Execute project within agreed budget and timeline</li>
<li>Participation in the elaboration and submission of official reports (progress, annual, final) and associated publications</li>
<li>Regular follow up of budget with ISGlobal financial officer, contribute to financial reporting</li>
<li>Follow up with partners on implementation of actions and budget</li>
<li>Monitoring of progress and deviations from project timetable</li>
<li><strong>Ensure constant communication with and reporting to the funding institution</strong></li>
<li>Ongoing communication and participation in meetings with the funding institution when requested</li>
<li>Preparation of technical reports ensuring on-time submission, preparation of amendments</li>
<li>Communicate requests from funding institution to appropriate partners</li>
<li><strong>Logistical / administrative aspects</strong></li>
<li>Coordinate project meetings and events</li>
<li>Arrange project-related travels for the team / participants</li>
<li>Coordinate and provide support for the purchase of project materials</li>
<li>Provide support to project implementation</li>
<li>Arrangement and follow up of project-related documentation and contracts</li>

The post holder will respect, and be accountable to ensure ISGlobal policies and procedures.</p><h3><strong>TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h3><ul>
<li>University degree (equal to 4 years of college) or equivalent. Master in Public Health or other relevant subject will be positively evaluated.</li>
<li>Experience in managing EU-funded research projects</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills for multi-tasking daily work, used to work in a goal-oriented approach, and strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong communication skills both written and spoken.</li>
<li>Problem solving skills</li>
