The Asset Management department is responsible for managing a portfolio of European Solar PV, Wind, Battery and Grid Services assets on behalf of Statkraft and external investors. The department manages all commercial and technical aspects of the assets, starting in the construction phase ensuring that projects are implemented effectively so that they move into the operational phase efficiently. A key involvement is the ‘prepare for operations’ phase of projects to ensure that the assets are able to be operated effectively in order to achieve and exceed their forecast financial returns.

The Senior Operations and Asset Management Manager will lead the NL AM country team and be the NL main point of contact for internal SK departments and external clients. The Manager will coordinate with and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, Financial Institutions and their advisors, project investors, technical advisers, legal, accountants and other professional advisors, off takers, regulatory bodies, local authorities, service providers and internal Statkraft teams including Development, Finance, Legal, Construction Project Management, O&M and Data Analysis.

The Manager will manage the members of the NL Asset Management team and be responsible for performing the services which are outlined in the relevant project agreements.

Senior Operations & Asset Management Manager – key activities and responsibilities

• Lead management of H&S responsibilities in OAM function in NL
• Lead OAM function both Commercial and Technical for NL
• Lead on delivery of OAM team deliverables for NL business
• Lead as main point of contact for NL Country Manager
• Support NL Business strategy, reflecting the OAM function effectively
• Support OAM European Business Strategy
• Coordinate with Statkraft OAM and maintain common OAM approach across all Statkraft markets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required with a concentration in business, finance, accounting, or other relevant discipline.
• Experience in Asset Management including stakeholder management.
• Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow modelling.
• Awareness of policy and regulatory frameworks applicable to asset management.
• Knowledge of the European renewable energy industry and key market trends.
• Basic knowledge of solar PV plant operation and maintenance which can be built upon with experience in the role.
