The Opportunity
This position will work onsite at our Austin, TX office in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott’s Heart Failure business, we’re developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and live better.
What You’ll Work on
The Manager, Global Congress Strategy is responsible for establishing the Heart Failure global congress strategy in partnership with Global Marketing, inclusive of Brand and Channel Marketing, Commercial Excellence and Upstream Marketing, as well as the Geography Marketers. Responsible for the implementation of the strategy at tier 1 congresses and ensuring each of the geographies has the relevant information to execute locally for their respective congresses. Acts as a brand champion and ensures all Global Congresses are consistent and accurately supports the Global Congress Strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with Global Marketing to develop annual global congress objectives and strategies, inclusive of key products, customer engagements and technology.
Provide congress strategy expertise to cross-functional teams and recommend most effective ways to achieve objectives.
Create and maintain an annual Congress strategy “in a box” for global use.
Identify ways to further strengthen customer engagement opportunities at global congresses.
