Ontada is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead pricing strategy and execution for Real-World Research (RWR) and Real-World Data (RWD) products, while also overseeing the end-to-end invoicing process for Ontada Learn. This role is critical to ensuring pricing accuracy, operational efficiency, and a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in pricing, strong analytical and communication skills, a proven ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment, and a customer-first mindset to support strategic growth and operational excellence.  This candidate will proactively consult with the internal stakeholders (Operations, Sales, Product Managers, and CFO) to develop impactful tactics to achieve our strategic objectives. Success in this role requires an influential, inquisitive, impactful, and high-integrity professional who enjoys working in a high-demand environment. This role requires strong influence across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product to drive alignment and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Deal Support

  • Lead pricing strategy and execution for RWR and RWD offerings, leveraging existing pricing models and frameworks.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to structure pricing for standard and custom solutions.
  • Support deal structuring and pricing reviews, including term sheets, customer budgets, FMV, and contract alignment.
  • Develop new and maintain pricing tools, dashboards, and reporting to support executive decision-making (trend reporting, profitability, margin, and savings analyses).
  • Ability to adapt pricing strategies for non-standard or innovative product offerings.
  • Be fully immersed in the iterations of deal reviews and negotiation as a trusted partner to the sales team
  • Champion and lead standardization of new best practice processes, procedures, and templates related to deal management.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Ontada’s product portfolio, ensuring pricing strategies are tailored to product capabilities, customer needs, and market dynamics.

Invoicing & Reconciliation

  • Own and manage the full invoicing lifecycle for Ontada Learn.
  • Ensure PO/payment details are obtained and entered into Salesforce upon contract execution, coordinating with Client Partners and OL Operations as needed.
  • Review and understand contract pricing and payment schedules as it relates to specific product needs.
  • Review the Revenue Schedule to Invoice Schedule automation in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage exceptions where payment details are missing, coordinating with Client Partners to resolve and manually update invoice readiness.
  • Review and approve all invoices within 1 business day of generation, validating against operational trackers and ensuring contractual alignment and revenue accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Billing and Accounts Receivable teams to troubleshoot and resolve payment issues both internally and externally.
  • Ensure timely delivery of invoices to customers and maintain high standards of accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Lead monthly reconciliation efforts with Client Partners and FP&A, ensuring all invoicing aligns with revenue recognition schedules and operational trackers, and resolving any discrepancies proactively.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Critical Skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in pricing, deal strategy, or financial operations.
  • Prior experience in pricing strategy and execution, including use of structured pricing models and creating pricing models.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a deep understanding of complex product offerings, including their value propositions, pricing structures, and customer use cases.
