Want to join us?</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><b><span><span>What You'll Do</span></span></b></span><br/> <span><span><span>The Senior System Engineer for Driver Information will join our Human Centric AD/ADAS group at Volvo Cars to take ownership and drive the development of the function scope which includes e.g. Road Sign Information, Driver Alert and Connected Safety Functions. The work contains tasks such as design, integrate, and verify the functions for a safe and personal driving experience. The primary objective of the role is to <b>be a leader for the team in developing our functions</b> through scoping the teams work in line with our strategic roadmap and deadlines. The team delivery should ensure fulfillment of legal requirements, rating activities, and safety standards. The product should be developed in a human-centric way by using data-driven decision during the improvement of our functionalities.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><b>Who You Are</b></span></span><br/> <span><span>The successful candidate will work with one foot inside the team and one foot leading the team to success. You will contribute to the development, design, and Verification &amp; Validation (V&amp;V) of the function scope, team planning and ensure data-driven development and decision-making.</span></span></span></p> <p><br/> <span><span><span>Collaboration is key to this role, as the Senior System Engineer will work closely with Product owners, UX organization, software suppliers, and multiple Volvo Car Corporation (VCC) teams. You will lead and empower colleagues in their competency area while actively seeking opportunities to learn and develop yourself and others.
